Ceramica De Meles began with a simple belief:
the smallest pauses in a day often hold the most meaning. A slow morning sip, a moment to breathe amid the noise.
What started as an admiration for handmade ceramics grew into a deeper mission — to honor those in-between moments with pieces that feel like they belong.
After a long search (and a few wrong turns), we found our home in Portugal, working alongside craftspeople who pour heart and patience into every detail.
What we create isn’t about trends or fleeting fashions. It’s about balance — objects that rest gently in the hand, please the eye, and carry the quiet weight of care.
We create ceramics that turn small routines into moments worth savoring. Each piece is crafted for the hands that hold it and the moments that use it — shaped with purpose, built for real life, and made to feel as good as it looks. It’s about enjoying what’s already in front of you — before the noise and after the rush.
We don’t follow trends or chase perfection. We create balance. ceramics that rest gently in the hand, please the eye, and carry the warmth of care. Whether it’s 300 coffees in a bustling café or one quiet cup of tea at home, every object is built for real life: dishwasher-safe, made to last, and designed to turn small routines into moments worth savoring.
I’m Yuval, the founder of Ceramica de Meles.
This began from something simple — my love for the quiet moments in between things. The way a cup can slow you down, make you notice what’s already here.
When I first started, I wasn’t chasing a business. I was chasing a feeling, of balance, of care, of something made to last. That journey led me to Portugal, where I met artisans who live and breathe the craft the same way I do. Together, we shape each piece by hand, with patience and purpose.
Ceramica de Meles is my way of sharing that feeling, a reminder to pause, hold something real, and appreciate the moment between moments.
